Lisa hosts a week of experiencing deep connection in supportive community as the journey through a series of workshops, classes and one-on-one coaching provides ideal ground for transformation. The programming journeys through the layers of Being offering time and space to reflect, accept and surrender to process as we explore what is necessary to reveal the essential Self. Lisa’s thematic, skilled and creative teachings are a combination of all yoga related practices, therapeutics, pilates and relational-somatic therapies. Set your inner compass straight, in the direction of your soul’s greatest purpose and potential, with ample time to indulge in the sun, sand and culture of the Goan people and landscape.

Daily Schedule

 

08:00 am:   Tea, fruit juice and fruit

09:00 am:   Sequential practices including mobility, strength, therapeutics, and meditation

11:30 am:   Brunch

12:30 pm:   Time to explore, relax on the beach, lounge in the shade, shop and/or indulge in a variety of therapeutic treatments

04:30 pm:   Sequential workshops: deepening practice

06:30 pm:   Dinner

07:30 pm:   Visit beach shacks for live music, sit under the stars, curl up in the cozy lounge on the beach… sleep.

 

Bio

 

Lisa Messina E-RYT 500 is a teacher trainer, presenter, international retreat host and a dedicated student. She has had the opportunity and honour to receive certifications from SVYASA Yoga University in Bangalore (200 hr), YYoga (200hr) and Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre (300hr) and continues to study with the world’s greatest leaders in the field of holistic healing and yoga.

 

Through experience, Lisa trusts that the yoga practice provides space for discovering our capacity for personal transformation. Her offerings are thoughtful, insightful, and inspiring. A dancer from the age of three, Lisa’s life work has been exploring and sharing her passion for movement and healing through a broad range of modalities, including dance, Pilates, yoga and currently through intensive study of relational-somatic psychotherapy. A persistent seeker, she unites a deep understanding for the ancient traditions of the yoga lineage with her research in progressive therapies. Lisa supports her students in their greatest expression of health and wellness so that they are empowered to engage harmoniously in the world.

 

Founder of Drishti Yoga Centre, Lisa is currently leading open classes in Toronto at Octopus Garden and YYoga and works with individuals in a facility focussed on addiction and trauma recovery.
