Lisa’s thematic, skilled and creative teachings are a combination of all yoga related practices, therapeutics, pilates and relational-somatic therapies. Lisa Messina E-RYT 500 is a teacher trainer, presenter, international retreat host and a dedicated student. She has had the opportunity and honour to receive certifications from SVYASA Yoga University in Bangalore (200 hr), YYoga (200hr) and Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre (300hr) and continues to study with the world’s greatest leaders in the field of holistic healing and yoga.
Through experience, Lisa trusts that the yoga practice provides space for discovering our capacity for personal transformation. Her offerings are thoughtful, insightful, and inspiring. A dancer from the age of three, Lisa’s life work has been exploring and sharing her passion for movement and healing through a broad range of modalities, including dance, Pilates, yoga and currently through intensive study of relational-somatic psychotherapy. A persistent seeker, she unites a deep understanding for the ancient traditions of the yoga lineage with her research in progressive therapies. Lisa supports her students in their greatest expression of health and wellness so that they are empowered to engage harmoniously in the world.
Founder of Drishti Yoga Centre, Lisa is currently leading open classes in Toronto at Octopus Garden and YYoga and works with individuals in a facility focussed on addiction and trauma recovery.
