Yoga & Meditations

We begin by gathering in mindfulness and silence before breakfast in the mornings to enable us to stay centred and connected to the stillness. Meditation and Pranayama will be followed by a two-hour Yin & Yang Yoga class. We meet again for a gentle, restorative Yin Yoga class in the late afternoons while watching the sun setting over the ocean.  Classes will be a combination of relaxing, restorative Yin postures, rejuvenating Yang flows, Pranayama, guided meditations and mindfulness practices. Classes are suitable for all levels, from complete new beginners to advance, experienced yogis.


Suggested Program:

  • Early morning tea, juice and fruit salad
  • 8:30 – Pranayama, meditation and Yoga
  • 11:30 – Delicious vegetarian brunch
  • 12:30 – Free time to enjoy the beach, lounge in the shade in hammocks, walk to local shops, take optional excursions or indulge in therapeutic treatments.
  • 3:00 – Chia, fruit and yummy cookies
  • 4:30 – afternoon Yoga class finishing in time to marvel at yet another stunning sunset
  • 6:30 – Dinner
  • 7:30 – time to sit back in the retreat’s lounge or visit the local beach bars and relax under the stars with your new friends until it is time for bed, when you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves…

About Regina

Your teacher and guide for the week will be Regina Kerschbaumer. Regina is a highly experienced and intuitive yoga teacher, registered as a Senior teacher with Yoga Alliance UK, a practicing Bowen Therapist (ECBS) and Reflexologist (I.I.R., ART). She has over two decades of body work experience and training. She offers regular Yin & Yang Yoga classes in Purley, Surrey, as well as workshops and holidays in England, Ireland, Morocco, South Africa, Greece and Goa.

Regina fell passionately in love with yoga after she attended her first class in 1996.  Soon after she qualified as a yoga teacher in 2004 She started training directly with Paul Grilley (the God-father of Yin Yoga) in California and still attends annual training courses with Paul & Suzee Grilley as well as Sarah Powers, to keep her Yoga teaching inspired and up-to-date.

Regina has a unique teaching style which unites student and teacher in an atmosphere of fun and well-being. Teaching with warmth, enthusiasm and clarity she gives students the tools to explore the relationship between body, breath and stillness in their yoga. She enables her students to visualise and work with the Chakras and Meridians to get in touch with the inner body.  Regina’s classes are as mentally and spiritually beneficial as they are physically beneficial – creating change from within – balancing the body, mind and soul. They are so much more than just an exercise class – enhancing every aspect of your life to promote general well-being.
