Join us in the spiritual home of Yoga for this accredited 50 Hour Yoga Nidra Teaching Program with Craig Norris.
During this Yoga Alliance accredited 50 Hour program you will be introduced to the practice of Yoga Nidra from the perspective of various different traditions for general mental, emotional and physical wellness. You will also be taught how to deliver practices specific to the needs of yourself and others.
The experiential nature of the training will expose you to the awakening power of this sleep based practice. Awakening the practitioner to living more lucidly everyday as well as awakening to their essential nature. By the end of the program you will have the tools to create a unique teaching style that is authentic to you without the need to be limited by scripts. All while experiencing the innate joy that is every human’s birthright in a relaxed, informal and fun, learning environment.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the Yoga Nidra TT course masterly taught by the talented Craig Nadashakti. Over two weekends, I learnt the techniques required to practice Yoga Nidra and teach it to others. Most importantly, I learnt to listen to what my body needs. The regular practice of Yoga Nidra has enhanced my approach to life and improved my relationship with others. It also helped me to make some important life-changing decisions. It was also good to meet some other wonderful Yoga Nidra lovers. Craig is very caring and has a fantastic sense of humour, making all the sessions very enjoyable.”

“Craig’s yoga nidra training was deeply restorative, insightful, practical and fun. It felt like a vast, beautiful, creative journey all in a few days, which since completing last year,I’m still benefiting from now.
Highly recommended for yoga teachers and people (like me!) who love and want to deepen their yoga nidra practice. Having the option to teach in the future too is great.”

“Craig’s Yoga Nidra Teacher Training is on the of the best yoga trainings I’ve done since my original 200 hour. It’s a wonderfully comprehensive dive into the history and science of yoga nidra – you’ll explore what’s going on in the brain and the nervous system when we practice nidra, and gain an in-depth understanding on what’s happening on a physical and mental level for your students as they practice. You have the opportunity to practice a LOT of nidra during the training – Craig was great at offering different styles of nidra for us to explore and he’s clearly passionate about yoga nidra, generously sharing his own personal experience of the practice.
You’ll learn to develop your own yoga nidras from scratch, weaving in meaning, imagery and iconography – this is not a training where you’re handed a yoga nidra script and taught to memorise it! You’ll learn how to use your voice, how to create and hold a safe space for students and you’ll be given very detailed, personal feedback about how to improve your delivery. And crucially, you’ll learn how to wake people up when you need to (it happens!). I regularly weave yoga nidra into my teaching, building it into studio classes, 1-2-1s and workshops.
Bamboo retreat is a dream location for this training (I’m jealous I didn’t get to do it here!). Situated on a quiet beach in South Goa (it almost feels like a private beach), the beach huts are beautifully appointed and are right on the beach. The food is incredible and plentiful and it really feels like a private oasis. It’s impossible not to slow down and decompress in this place – it’s the perfect venue for a yoga nidra training!”
