Facing the ocean, the retreat offers us a home for the week – relaxing in the shade and enjoying the gentle breeze or step into the ocean for a dip! Patnem Beach is a short drive away full of little shops and cafes to spend an afternoon shopping or to take a break from the beach.[/mk_title_box][mk_gallery images=”6280,6210,6308″ height=”365″][mk_title_box color=”#808080″ size=”16″ font_family=”none”]We will arrive at a brand new location, just down the road from its original home,  the much quieter stunning golden sandy beach of Polem in South Goa awaits you!

Bamboo yoga’s new location is still right on the beach and is only 15 minutes to Patnem by car so you and your guests can have the best of both worlds. The beach property is in a village of 150 residents where it feels like stepping back in time which provides a perfect authentic Goan experience.[/mk_title_box][mk_gallery images=”6277,6271,6310″ height=”365″][mk_title_box color=”#808080″ size=”16″ font_family=”none”]Imagine the peace of nature with the beach and the option of a night out in the evening when you wish for some entertainment just down the road. They will have in-house nights too.  Music, beach fires and movie nights!

There are local secluded beaches that you walk to or you can take a boat. There is a tiny island too, BLISS.

08:00:  Morning energising Yoga practice
10:30:  Delicious brunch
Daytime is your time – swim, walking and exploring, a massage treatment or relaxing!
15:00:  Pick me up Chai and cookies
16:00:  Evening lunar Yoga practice (often yin, restorative, gentle flow, meditation)
18:00:  Time to watch the sunset
19:00:  Our evening meal together – vegetarian buffet

You may wish to arrive a few days before the retreat starts and perhaps extend your stay. Please contact Bamboo directly for extra nights and there are also plenty of places to stay in Patnem which is a 15 minute drive away.

Emyoga is a 500+ hours certified Yoga teacher with over 10 years’ experience. She believes continued education on and off the mat is essential to our self development, coupled with that which also inspires.  She is continually inspired by this practice from taking a quiet yoga practice to stepping off the plane in a far off country for a glorious retreat.  Teacher, mentor and friend – Katy Appleton, created and instilled in her the freedom that an inspired practice can uplift and connect us as human beings.

As a teacher and student her excitement for what she knows and has yet to learn keeps her work awakening, balanced, fun and often in beautiful places on retreat from Bali to Mexico.  She now finds herself with a practice that has evolved immensely and includes an approach to her own practice with consideration, kindness and responsibility. This is what she wishes and hopes to share with you.

Her belief is to always ask questions and to simplify your practice to that which serves you in that moment, on that day. Because she believes that the highest form of teaching is offered by how she shows up for herself and others, she strives to live with integrity, deep listening and lightness.
